I enjoy writing. I suppose I should explain why: I’ve always had an overactive imagination. It helps that I had a mother who fed my neurotic tendencies by allowing me to wave my freak flag proudly. As time progressed, so did my imagination. School helped to develop my imagination and not hinder it like some education systems do, primarily because I was always pushed to read, to understand and interpret the words of others in a way that paralleled my life. Once I reached high school, I realized that I could no longer keep my ideas to myself. So I began to put ideas down on paper, creating all kinds of people and plots. It took about seven months for my outlines and character developments to evolve into my first story, You Have A Deal. From there, my passion for Romance grew and blossomed, allowing me to create and shape the novels I have today.

Many have asked where I get my ideas and inspiration from. To be quite frank, I have absolutely no idea. The ideas I get for my writing come from the oddest places. The inspiration for Unlikely Muse, for example, came from a horror movie. Yes, I know; “how does that happen?!?” The only explanation that I can give is that my mind works differently; always out of left field.

Why romance? The number one reason would have to be that I myself am a hopeless romantic, always rooting for a happy ending. And quite honestly, everyone needs a little romance in their life. Especially us plus-sized women. I've become very frustrated with the fact that even in fiction novels, larger women can’t get a break. So I'm taking it upon myself to prove that though we come in a cuddlier size, we are beautiful.  I REFUSE to believe that small petite women or leggy amazons are the only ones to get they guy.

It’s pretty much as simple as that.

Hobbies outside of writing? Crochet, sleeping, chocolate, writing, singing, dancing and various other “typical 20-something female” activities.
